Photographer's Shocking Encounter with Anaconda Goes Viral

A large snake created quite a stir in Corumbá, Brazil, recently. Photographer Sahar Safa had a close encounter with an unexpected visitor outside her studio. "Meu Deus, ela morde?" she exclaimed upon seeing the large sucuri (anaconda) slithering near her car. The video, which quickly went viral, shows the snake moving slowly but steadily across the concrete. A local janitor, seeing the situation, calmly helped guide the snake away from the studio and towards a nearby wooded area. "Ela mora ali," he said, indicating the snake's likely habitat.
