Kaštela Library Hosts Patriotic Pub Quiz Celebrating Croatian History

Kaštela, Croatia – The Gradska knjižnica Kaštela (City Library of Kaštela) recently hosted a unique pub quiz event, challenging participants with their knowledge of Croatian culture and history through song lyrics. The event, held outdoors, featured two musicians: one on a Yamaha keyboard and another singing into a microphone, guiding attendees through a 'continue the lyrics' segment. The quiz was specifically designed to commemorate the 1100th anniversary of the Croatian kingdom, focusing on social and cultural questions from the nation's rich past. On-screen prompts, such as 'Velebite, vilovito stijenje' (Velebit, rocky mountain), guided participants. The audience engaged enthusiastically, demonstrating their appreciation for Croatian heritage and music. The event highlighted the library's role in fostering community engagement and preserving cultural memory.
