El motivo es que el coche puede alcanzar temperaturas de 50 grados en pocos minutos
Pamplona, Spain – The Guardia Civil of Navarra has issued a stark warning regarding the severe dangers of leaving pets unattended in parked vehicles, even for short periods. A recent public service announcement released by the force illustrates how quickly car interiors can become death traps for animals. The video depicts a scenario where a small white dog is initially placed inside a car. A Guardia Civil officer then explains that within minutes, the temperature inside a vehicle can soar to over 50 degrees Celsius, posing a fatal risk to any animal trapped inside. The officer stressed that the perceived outside temperature does not accurately reflect the rapid heat accumulation within a closed car. To underscore the urgency of the message, the officer is shown retrieving the dog from the vehicle, reiterating the critical importance of immediate action. The Guardia Civil urges the public to contact emergency services by dialing 062 or using the AlertCops application if they witness an animal in distress inside a parked car, emphasizing that an animal's life could be in immediate peril.
