Guardía Civil Warns of Sophisticated Employment Scam in Spain
In Spain, a new scam targeting employees is causing concern. Fraudsters are calling employees, falsely claiming company debts, and using emotional manipulation to pressure them into immediate payments. "The objective is to emotionally manipulate the employee to act without verifying," explains a Guardia Civil officer in a recent video. The fraudsters often request payment through prepaid cards, cryptocurrency ATMs, or instant bank transfers.
