Belgrade, Serbia – Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić today inspected the final stages of a new highway section, including the Laz and Munino Brdo tunnels, announcing that the route will soon enable travel from Belgrade to Zlatibor in just two hours. The President highlighted the advanced infrastructure and robust safety measures implemented in the project. During his visit, President Vučić toured the sophisticated control center for the two tunnels, which he described as "a marvel of aggregates." He emphasized the comprehensive safety systems, stating, "Even if the power goes out in any of the tunnels, we have a power supply for four or five hours. People react immediately by lowering the ramps and intervening in the same second. We have ensured everything so that people feel safe." Aerial views revealed the modern, winding highway cutting through the Serbian landscape.
