Automotive expert Keshawn, known online as 'lifewithkey_', recently shared insights on used car models consumers might consider avoiding. In a video posted on June 23, 2025, Keshawn advises against purchasing several popular vehicles due to recurring mechanical and electrical issues. Among the models highlighted were the Nissan Rogue, frequently associated with persistent 'check engine' lights, and the GMC Acadia, which Keshawn noted for its ABS and transmission problems, describing its shifting as 'super rough.' The Chevrolet Equinox was also mentioned as having similar issues to the Acadia, leading to a high volume of these vehicles on used car lots. Keshawn further cautioned against the Nissan Kicks, citing its small size, electrical failures, and transmission issues, labeling its reliability as 'non-existent.' The Jeep Renegade was broadly dismissed as unreliable. Finally, he advised consumers to be wary of any luxury car that is 10 to 15 years old, stating they are no longer 'luxury' but 'domesticated' and prone to expensive malfunctions. Keshawn emphasized saving money by choosing more reliable alternatives.
