Madrid, Spain – A recent video by Spanish mechanic Ángel Gaitan has shed light on the significant risks associated with purchasing certain used vehicles, specifically highlighting issues found in a Toyota Proace 2000. Gaitan, known for his automotive expertise, presented a comprehensive review of a client's newly acquired van, revealing a litany of mechanical failures. During his detailed inspection, Gaitan pointed out a severely clogged AdBlue injector, a broken transmission joint, and extensive mud and dirt accumulation, suggesting a history of rough use. He also displayed images of worn brake discs, significant oil leaks from the PCV valve, and a battery in poor condition. "This is not a Toyota; this is a PSA/Stellantis vehicle, a piece of junk," Gaitan stated, expressing his frustration with the quality and the sellers who allegedly misrepresent such vehicles. He emphasized that the vehicle's exterior appearance can be deceiving, leading unsuspecting buyers, especially those with families, to purchase what appears to be a good deal. "They see it, it looks nice, and they end up with a destroyed car," he added. Gaitan urged viewers to conduct thorough pre-purchase inspections and consult experts to avoid similar costly problems.
