Wild reason Aussie woman was detained in Singapore
A Brisbane woman claims she was detained on her first overseas trip after getting into a fight with a hotel worker.
A woman, known online as 'lillithlodge,' has posted a video detailing her recent detention at Singapore's Changi Airport. The incident reportedly took place as she was preparing to depart Singapore for Australia, following what she described as her 'last and final tour' as a 'full-service sex worker' before her retirement. This was also her inaugural international trip. According to her account, she had no issues entering Singapore and completed her work there. She suggested that a previous altercation with a hotel receptionist might have contributed to her subsequent detention. Her troubles began at the airport when automated check-in kiosks repeatedly failed to process her passport. After successfully checking in with an airline attendant, she proceeded to the international departure gates. There, a biometric scanning system, involving facial recognition and fingerprints, triggered an alarm, leaving her momentarily trapped between two gates. An armed security guard then approached her and directed her to an interrogation room. During the questioning, her mobile phone was confiscated and searched. The woman acknowledged that her device contained extensive records of client communications and photographs related to her profession. She concluded the video by stating, 'I knew I was in the shit,' and indicated that a second part of her story would follow. The incident underscores the stringent regulations and potential scrutiny travelers may face in certain jurisdictions, particularly concerning activities that could be considered sensitive or illegal.
