Accra's Kotoka International Airport Undergoes Terminal Expansion to Ease Congestion The Ministry of Transport in Ghana has launched expansion works at Terminal 2 of Kotoka International Airport in Accra. This initiative aims to alleviate the persistent congestion problems at Terminal 3, which frequently causes delays and inconvenience for travelers. The project is divided into two phases. The first phase focuses on improving facilities for domestic travelers, while the second phase will enhance the international terminal. According to an official interviewed in the video, "What we are doing now is to decongest Terminal 3 into Terminal 2. We are positioning Terminal 2 into two phases, one for domestic and one for international travelers."
