Perak's Ameen Products Makes History with First Export to Mali In a remarkable achievement for Perak's business sector, Ameen Products Sdn Bhd has become the first company from the region to successfully export its products to Mali, a country in West Africa. This breakthrough marks a significant step for Malaysian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) aiming to expand their global reach. Ameen Products, specializing in the production of flavored cordials and syrups, shipped over 1,400 cartons (16,800 bottles) of its popular cordials to Mali, valued at RM90,000. The Managing Director, Mohammed Irfan Amanulla, expressed his surprise at this achievement, stating, "I never expected Africa to be such a significant market." The export success is a testament to the quality and affordability of Ameen's products. The company's journey to the Malian market began with participation in the Gulfood exhibition in Dubai. This event provided crucial networking opportunities and attracted potential buyers. Ameen Products has also previously exported to other countries including Mauritius, Singapore, Brunei, and Fiji, demonstrating a growing international presence. This success story highlights the potential of Malaysian SMEs to compete on the global stage. The company's focus on quality, competitive pricing, and relevant certifications has enabled them to secure international markets. The future looks bright for Ameen Products as they continue to explore new opportunities for growth and expansion.
