Hiker Picks Up Rattlesnake on Trail — and Dies From Bite
A hiker on a Tennessee trail was ridiculous enough to touch a wild animal, picking up a rattlesnake that predictably bit him.
Kayakers on Factory Creek in Tennessee recently encountered two large timber rattlesnakes during their trip. The first snake was observed swimming across the creek before making its way onto the bank. Later, a second timber rattlesnake was spotted on the rocky shoreline, near where the kayakers had their boats. The individuals maintained a safe distance while observing the reptiles. This encounter highlights the presence of local wildlife in recreational areas and serves as a reminder for outdoor enthusiasts to remain aware of their surroundings.
