Kemény kritika érkezett Szijjártó Péterhez, érik az év botránya.
Budapest, Hungary – A recent video circulating online has leveled serious allegations against Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, drawing attention to his operational costs, security arrangements, and international engagements. The video's author, speaking directly to the camera, questioned the necessity of the Minister's reported 13-person press staff and a 52-member security detail provided by TEK, which he claims costs half a billion forints annually. Furthermore, the author highlighted alleged luxury private jet expenditures, citing a specific Cairo-Budapest flight where, according to the video, 5.5 million forints were spent on food and drinks, and 7 million forints on internet services. The video also touched upon a controversial ventilator business, asserting that evidence was destroyed, and questioned Minister Szijjártó's awareness of these actions, implying his involvement. In a segment featuring a clip of Szijjártó himself, the Minister is heard stating that he was not "chased around the table as a child to get on a private jet," and that these matters are not important to him for personal gain. A significant point of criticism in the video revolved around Szijjártó's relationship with Russia. The author claimed that Szijjártó has visited Moscow approximately 15 times since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war and received a "Friendship Order" from Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov. The video also referenced a statement from Romanian foreign affairs officials alleging Russian attempts to influence Romanian elections through cyberattacks, contrasting this with the Hungarian Foreign Ministry's alleged denial of similar Russian cyberattacks on its systems. The video's author suggested that Szijjártó's public statements often align with "Russian propaganda." The video concludes with the author performing a football trick, balancing a ball on his finger before showing a middle finger, a gesture interpreted as a direct message to the Minister.
