ASZÓD, Hungary – An incident unfolded at a public event held by Galgagyöngye Tisza Sziget in Aszód on Sunday, where journalists from Vác Online reported being physically obstructed while attempting to question former Chief of Staff Ruszin-Szendi Romulusz. The event, widely advertised as public, saw a bodyguard reportedly linked to political figure Magyar Péter intervene aggressively as reporters inquired about a lawsuit filed by Gyula Budai and significant monthly payments from the Hungarian Defence Forces. Vác Online staff initially received answers regarding Ruszin-Szendi Romulusz's presence in Aszód and his participation in the event. However, when questions turned to more sensitive topics, including allegations of a liposuction procedure paid for by the Honvéd Hospital, the bodyguard allegedly pushed the journalists, preventing further inquiry. The same individual was reportedly involved in a similar incident where a Hír TV female journalist fell into a ditch while covering Magyar Péter. Despite the bodyguard's assertion that the event was private, local police confirmed on site that the Tisza event was indeed public. Organizers also prevented the Vác Online team from filming speeches or obtaining cutaway shots, further escalating tensions at the gathering.
