A recent investigation by the North Kazakhstan regional department of economic investigations uncovered a fraudulent financial pyramid scheme, known as "Sincere Systems Group." Operating between 2022 and 2023, the scheme defrauded four investors of nearly 14 million tenge. The company was not registered in Kazakhstan and operated without the necessary licenses. Zhansaya Salim, an investigator with the department, stated: "For the sake of convincing clients of the safety of their investments, a website was created...which tracked client investments and attracted new participants." Thanks to swift action by authorities, all the losses have been recovered. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of due diligence when considering investment opportunities.
