Texas Mom Charged in Middle School Terror Plot
San Antonio Police arrest mother and son for an alleged terror plot against a middle school. On May 11, a family member reported seeing a juvenile with a live bullet. The juvenile claimed his mother, Ashley Prado, bought him the bullet and tactical gear. The next day, the family member found loaded magazines and an improvised explosive device, immediately contacting the police. The student arrived at Rhodes Middle School wearing a mask and tactical gear but left shortly after. Police Chief William McManus stated, "Her behavior is not only dangerous, it's abhorrent, especially as a parent." The investigation is ongoing, but the arrest highlights the importance of reporting suspicious behavior and the serious consequences of aiding in potential acts of violence. This incident underscores the need for increased vigilance and cooperation between families, schools, and law enforcement to ensure the safety and security of our children.
