Iranian Woman Hospitalized After Panic Attack During Husband's ICE Arrest in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA – A dramatic incident unfolded on June 25 in Los Angeles, where an Iranian woman experienced a severe panic attack as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested her husband. The video, released by NBC News, captures the intense moments of the arrest and the woman's subsequent medical emergency. Footage shows masked ICE agents handcuffing the man on a residential street. An individual, presumably the woman's pastor, is heard pleading with the agents, questioning the legality of the arrest and stating that the couple had entered the U.S. under the CBP One program last year seeking asylum. As her husband is taken into custody, the woman collapses onto the grass, visibly distressed and appearing to suffer a panic attack. The individual filming is heard repeatedly urging the agents to 'Let her go!' and calling for 911, emphasizing that 'She's sick!' Following the incident, the woman was transported to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for treatment. The circumstances surrounding the arrest and the couple's asylum status are currently under investigation.
