Three teens were left terrified after they caught a California hotel employee trying to break into their room at midnight.
Garden Grove, California – A disturbing incident unfolded at the Delta Hotel in Garden Grove when a 17-year-old water polo player and her two teammates reported a hotel employee attempting to gain unauthorized access to their room in the early hours of Friday morning. According to Charlotte, the teen who filmed the incident, she awoke around 12:30 AM to sounds at their door and observed a makeshift device being used to manipulate the door handle. She quickly alerted her teammates. The hotel management, represented by Khanna Enterprises, confirmed the individual involved was an employee who tried to “enter the room with his own makeshift device” and stated that he “is no longer with the company.” However, Garden Grove police concluded that the incident “was not a criminal act,” a classification that has raised concerns among the girls' parents. Charlotte's mother, Tiffany, met with the hotel's General Manager, who described the incident as a "room check." Following the event, the hotel provided the girls with a gift basket and relocated them to a different room.
