Pharmacist Warns Never Buy These 4 Health Items From Costco: "Toxic to Your Mic…
His list includes immunity supplements from a very popular health brand.
A pharmacist, known as "Philsmypharmacist" on social media, recently shared a video from outside a Costco store, advising consumers against purchasing specific health supplements. In his "de-influencing" segment, he highlighted Red Yeast Rice, a product he claims functions similarly to a statin drug but is less effective and potentially harmful to the liver and mitochondria. He also critiqued "One A Day Brain Support," asserting that its primary ingredient, phosphatidylserine, offers minimal benefits for cognitive function. The pharmacist recommended CDP Choline as a more effective alternative for brain health. Furthermore, he cautioned against "Airborne" for immune system support, suggesting that a probiotic would be a superior choice. Lastly, he strongly advised against the use of "Laxaclear" (a generic for Miralax), stating it is detrimental to the gut microbiome and can worsen constipation long-term, advocating for chicory root and a good probiotic instead. His video aims to empower consumers to make more informed health product decisions.
