Esto es lo que debes hacer en su lugar si tras denunciar la pérdida, encuentras estos documentos
Madrid, Spain – The Spanish National Police has issued an important warning to citizens regarding the use of DNI (National Identity Document) or passports that have been reported lost or stolen. In a recent public service announcement, an officer explained that once a document is officially reported as missing, it is immediately invalidated and loses all legal validity. The officer emphasized that even if the lost or stolen document is later recovered, it must not be used for travel or identification purposes. "If you have reported your DNI or passport lost or stolen and then find it, you should under no circumstances use it," the officer stated. Using an invalidated document can lead to severe consequences, including being denied entry at the destination country's border and being obligated to return to Spain on the next available flight. This could also result in prolonged waits in international transit areas at airports. The Spanish National Police advises all citizens who recover a previously reported lost or stolen document to schedule an appointment to obtain a new, valid document instead of attempting to use the old one. This measure aims to prevent legal complications and ensure smooth travel for all citizens.
