Alejandro Sanz Responds to Fan's Exploitation Claims, Cites Business Dispute
Madrid, Spain – Renowned Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz has publicly addressed accusations made by a fan, Ivet Plaja, who claimed he took advantage of her for intimate encounters. Sanz, 55, responded to the allegations via an Instagram story, clarifying the nature of their relationship and the events leading to the alleged fallout. In his statement, Sanz acknowledged a "very beautiful memory" shared between them, describing it as two adults "sharing their affection, being free." However, he expressed regret that this sentiment had now been broken. He further elaborated on a business proposition from Plaja, stating, "In May, you offered me to participate in and invest in some family businesses of yours. After reviewing it with my advisors, I told you no." Sanz concluded his message by asserting his innocence regarding the more serious claims: "I regret that your reaction is this, but I want you to know that I have never been a participant in these practices, and I will continue this way my entire life." The singer's response comes amidst growing public interest in the fan's claims, which have circulated online.
