Metepec, Mexico – A recent incident at Hotel La Muralla in Metepec, Toluca, has sparked controversy after a hotel guest, who identifies as a drag performer, publicly accused the establishment of discrimination. The guest, known online as RAMOOONA, shared a video documenting a confrontation with a hotel receptionist, identified as Teresa Martínez. According to the guest, Ms. Martínez informed them that they needed to vacate their room, citing the hotel's policy as a "family hotel" due to the presence of children. The guest, whose room and parking spot (room 306) were reportedly paid for, challenged this directive, stating, "This room is paid for... When I return, you need to give me access." The guest further expressed their intent to pursue legal action if denied re-entry, asserting, "You cannot imagine the problem you and this institution will get into." Ms. Martínez, the receptionist, stated that the decision was based on "hotel policies" and declined to provide further information regarding the specific individual responsible for the directive. The video has since garnered significant attention online, raising questions about hotel policies and alleged discriminatory practices.
