SANTA CRUZ, Bolivia – After 17 days of disruption, roads connecting Santa Cruz to Cochabamba and other interior regions of Bolivia have been fully reopened. A report from the Bimodal Terminal in Santa Cruz confirmed that both the old and new routes are now clear for transit, allowing bus services to resume normal operations. A ticket vendor interviewed at the terminal expressed relief and optimism. "The new and old routes are clear, so we are once again waiting for passengers traveling to Cochabamba, La Paz, and other destinations," he stated. He also encouraged people to visit the offices, anticipating a boost in sales with the upcoming holidays. "When there's a holiday, there are vacations, people come, and there's a lot of influx of people," he added, highlighting the positive impact on business. The terminal, which had been affected by the prolonged blockade, is gradually returning to normal activity, with passengers beginning to arrive and depart. Authorities and vendors alike are urging the public to take note that all routes are now accessible, facilitating free circulation for travelers across the country.
