Father Arrested on Sexual Abuse Charges While Seeking Missing Son

Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia – A man seeking the return of his 7-year-old son was apprehended by authorities today on charges of alleged sexual abuse. The individual, whose identity has not been fully disclosed, was taken into custody during an operation by the Child and Adolescent Ombudsman's Office. He was subsequently transferred to the Special Force to Fight Violence (FELCV) in Villa Primero de Mayo. Police officials stated that the arrest was made pursuant to an existing legal process against the man for sexual abuse. The father, however, vehemently denies the accusations, claiming he has been subjected to false denunciations. He asserted that this is not the first time he has faced such issues and highlighted his history of raising children, including those not biologically his own, without prior legal complications of this nature.
