SANTA CRUZ, Bolivia – A recent home invasion in Santa Cruz has left a local resident victimized, though police have successfully recovered her stolen vehicle. The incident, reported by Red Uno, involved two individuals who entered the victim's home, making off with cash, jewelry, and cellular devices, in addition to her Toyota Land Cruiser.
The homeowner recounted the terrifying experience, stating that the perpetrators, described as young adults, confronted her inside her residence. She noted that the individuals had uncovered faces and appeared to communicate with a third party via cell phone using coded language.
Fortunately, swift action by law enforcement agencies, including FELCC, Diprove, and Daci, led to the recovery of the stolen Toyota Land Cruiser within 11 hours of the robbery. However, the two individuals responsible for the home invasion and theft remain at large. Police investigations are ongoing as authorities work to identify and apprehend the suspects.
