    Cargo Ship Carrying 3,000 Vehicles Sinks Off Alaska Coast After Fire

    A cargo ship, identified as the Morning Midase, carrying approximately 3,000 vehicles, has sunk in international waters, roughly 725 kilometers southwest of Adak, Alaska. The vessel, which had departed from Yantai, China, on May 26th, was en route to Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, Mexico, when it reported a fire on board on June 4th. The United States National Guard confirmed the ship capsized and sank after drifting for several days in the North Pacific. All crew members were successfully rescued, and no casualties have been reported.
