Red Uno Clarifies National Poll Methodology for 2025 Elections

La Paz, Bolivia – Red Uno's 'Uno Decide 2025' program recently clarified key aspects of its second national poll ahead of the 2025 elections, addressing public inquiries about the inclusion of political parties and candidates. During the broadcast, a panel of experts explained that the survey strictly adheres to the regulations set by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, meaning only candidates officially enabled by the electoral body are considered for inclusion in the questionnaire. One point of clarification concerned the 'Nueva Generación Patriótica' party and its candidate, Mr. Tapia. It was noted that while the party participates, Mr. Tapia's resignation occurred on June 24th, after the survey's field work had commenced. Therefore, his name still appears in the results as per the survey's data collection timeline. Another clarification addressed the absence of a new candidate for 'ADN'. Experts stated that when the list of enabled candidates was released on June 6th, the new ADN candidate was not yet registered. As the survey's methodology requires using the officially habilitated list at the start of the process, modifications to include recently registered candidates could not be made mid-survey. The program emphasized that these procedures are under the strict vigilance of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, ensuring the integrity and compliance of the electoral survey.
