LA PAZ, Bolivia – The Hospital de Clínicas in La Paz has become the scene of a recent robbery where personal belongings and three portable computers were stolen from lockers designated for medical residency students. The incident, which involved the violent forced opening of the lockers, has prompted an immediate investigation by the Special Force to Fight Crime (FELCC). According to authorities, the police are currently reviewing security camera footage from the hospital premises in an effort to identify the perpetrators. Additionally, investigators are conducting interviews with potential witnesses and collecting forensic evidence, including fingerprints and other traces left at the scene, to aid in the identification and apprehension of those responsible. The stolen items belonged to students who were conducting their medical residency at the facility. The FELCC stated that they are working to establish if other individuals were involved in the crime beyond the direct perpetrators.
