Subsidi Petrol RON95 Guna MyKad, Pastikan Cip Berfungsi
Subsidi petrol RON95 bakal dilaksana oleh Kerajaan dan harga RM 2.05/liter akan diturunkan kepada RM1.99/liter. Pastikan cip MyKad berfungsi
KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian government is set to implement a targeted subsidy for RON95 petrol, bringing the price down to RM1.99 per liter by the end of this month. This announcement was made by Minister of Home Affairs, Saifuddin Nasution, who stated that the initiative fulfills a key promise made by the Prime Minister. The new subsidy scheme will require citizens to use their MyKad for identity verification when purchasing petrol. Consequently, Minister Nasution urged all Malaysians to promptly check the functionality of their MyKad chips. "It is crucial for every Malaysian to ensure their MyKad chip is working correctly," said Minister Nasution. "This targeted subsidy can only be accessed by using your MyKad at the petrol pump." For those whose MyKad chips are damaged or unreadable, the Minister advised visiting any National Registration Department (JPN) office nationwide. Replacements will be processed on the same day, ensuring minimal disruption. The government emphasizes proactive checks to allow all eligible citizens to benefit from this special petrol subsidy, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the populace and fostering economic well-being with integrity.
