Crane Crash Causes Major Traffic Jam in Bayan Lepas

A 25-tonne crane truck crashed this morning along Jalan Permatang Damar Laut in Kampung Seronok, Bayan Lepas, causing major traffic jams from 9 am. According to Datuk Azrul Mahathir Aziz, assemblyman, the crane’s brakes failed, causing it to slide from a nearby housing site. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The road was cleared and reopened by 2 pm. "The crane fell from the project above," said one eyewitness.
