Aprueban estacionamiento sin costo en las plazas comerciales de este estado
Cambia la jugada: plazas comerciales deberán regalarte tiempo o de lo contrario pagar un precio alto por no hacerlo.
TIJUANA, Mexico – As of July 2nd, commercial parking lots in Tijuana are now required to offer the first 40 minutes of parking free of charge. This new regulation, approved by the city council, aims to benefit residents and visitors by reducing parking costs for short stops. The measure was officially adopted after a council vote, with footage from the meeting showing council members approving the new rule. Reporter Said Rodríguez stated that businesses failing to comply with the new mandate could face substantial penalties. "They could be subject to a fine that could reach up to one million pesos, or even closure," Rodríguez explained. Enforcement of the new regulation will be carried out through inspections by city officials. Additionally, the public is encouraged to report any violations. "Inspectors will begin their rounds, but user complaints will also be effective," Rodríguez added, emphasizing a dual approach to ensure compliance. This development is expected to have a notable impact on daily life for many in Tijuana.
