Hundreds of Jobs Available in Madrid: Hotel, Food, and Healthcare Sectors Hiring
Madrid Job Market Booms: Hundreds of Positions Open Across Spain The Madrid region is experiencing a surge in job opportunities, with hundreds of positions now available across various sectors. A recent report from Telemadrid's Madrid Trabaja program highlights several key openings, offering hope to job seekers throughout Spain and beyond. One significant opportunity comes from Iberostar, a hotel chain launching a youth employment program for tourism graduates. The program offers positions in various areas of the company's establishments in Spain, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. "Beneficiaries will be able to opt for different areas of the company and in the establishments that the company has," explained the presenter in the Telemadrid report. For those interested in the food industry, several butcher shops and fish markets in the Community of Madrid are seeking employees with indefinite contracts and rotating morning and afternoon shifts. Salaries will be according to the collective bargaining agreement. In the healthcare sector, there's a call for 10 geriatric auxiliary professionals in El Escorial. This opportunity is specifically targeted at individuals with a disability of at least 33%, requiring the obligatory qualification and six months of experience. To help connect job seekers with these opportunities, several job fairs are scheduled this week. These fairs will be held in Alcobendas (May 28th and 29th), Collado Villalba (May 27th), Usera (May 28th), and Valdemoro. This initiative offers a significant boost to the local economy and provides valuable employment opportunities for a wide range of individuals. The Madrid Trabaja program underscores the commitment to fostering employment growth and providing support to job seekers in the region.
