Valencia, Spain – The Valencian Community has launched its 'Bono Alquiler Joven 2025' (Youth Rental Bonus 2025), offering significant financial support to young residents struggling with housing costs. This aid program provides €250 per month for a maximum of two years, aimed at alleviating rental burdens for eligible individuals. According to official information, applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old and reside within the Valencian Community. A key requirement is an annual income below €25,200. Furthermore, the rental cost of the property must not exceed €900 per month for a full apartment or €450 per month for a room. A notable change for the 2025 program is that eligibility will be determined by income level rather than the order of application, ensuring that aid is directed to those most in need. While a rental contract is necessary, it does not need to be submitted at the time of application; it can be provided later. Applicants must also be registered at the residence. Importantly, individuals who own property or live in a rental property owned by a family member are not eligible. Those who meet all the specified criteria can apply for the bonus through the official website of the Generalitat Valenciana. Further assistance for the application process is also available through various service providers.
