Tragic Accident Claims Couple's Lives in Sarawak A devastating three-vehicle collision in Kampung Angkabang, Batu Lima Dua, Jalan Serian, Sri Aman, Sarawak, on Wednesday, May 29, 2025, claimed the lives of a husband and wife. According to a spokesperson from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), "We received an emergency call at 5:49 PM and dispatched eight personnel to the scene." Upon arrival, emergency responders found the couple trapped in their severely damaged Toyota Hilux. Despite efforts to extract them, they were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The lorry driver sustained head injuries and is receiving medical treatment. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
