According to a recent Unitel Bolivia report, uniforms are not mandatory during this period of low temperatures. The announcement comes as the national meteorological service, SENAMHI, forecasts rain, thunderstorms, and a significant temperature drop in valleys and eastern regions of the country from May 28th to 30th and June 5th and 6th. Vice Minister of Regular Education, Eudal Tejerina, stated in the report, "Students can attend school in warm clothing." This decision aims to ensure students' safety and well-being during the cold spell. The Ministry is also coordinating with the Ministry of Health to launch vaccination brigades against influenza. One mother interviewed by Unitel expressed relief at the policy change, saying, "It's a huge relief for parents like me, who worry about their children's health during this weather."
