El Alto Municipality Confirms Jaime Dunn's Debts Ahead of Presidential Election Decision

LA PAZ, Bolivia – The Autonomous Municipal Government of El Alto has officially submitted a report to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) confirming that presidential candidate Jaime Dunn has outstanding debts and executive charges with the municipality. The legal advisor for the El Alto municipality, Isaac Mauricio, stated that a review of their system, cross-referenced with the General Comptroller's Office and various coercive courts, revealed that Mr. Dunn has payment requirements, executed charges, and existing debts with the municipality. Mauricio confirmed that while some of the 33 processes against Dunn have been declared unproven by judges, the majority of the debts remain pending. He emphasized that the General Comptroller's Office is the entity responsible for granting fiscal solvency, and the El Alto municipality has presented all relevant documentation to the Electoral Body for their assessment. The Supreme Electoral Tribunal is expected to convene tomorrow to analyze the report and make a decision on whether Jaime Dunn will be habilitated as a candidate for the upcoming presidential elections.
