Тиктокерша рассказала про услугу банков по обмену «нетоварных» банкнот — тех, которые не отвечают единому перечню платежеспособности.
MINSK, Belarus – Residents and visitors in Belarus now have clearer options for exchanging damaged foreign currency, with two primary banking institutions offering distinct services for this common financial challenge. While many banks may refuse compromised banknotes, specific procedures are in place at Belarusbank and Technobank. Belarusbank facilitates the exchange of damaged foreign currency, though the process is notably lengthy. According to recent information, banknotes submitted to Belarusbank for exchange are first sent to a foreign state for expert evaluation. This procedure can extend up to six months, and a commission of 3% of the exchanged sum is applied upon completion. For those requiring immediate exchange, Technobank's main office presents a quicker alternative. At this location, damaged foreign currency notes can be exchanged on the spot. However, this expedited service comes with a higher commission rate of 9% of the total amount. This option caters to individuals who prioritize speed over a lower fee. Customers are advised to assess their urgency and the condition of their banknotes to choose the most suitable banking service for their needs.
