Texas Woman Tracks Down and Confronts Kids Who Stole Her Purse After Forgetting…
A Texas woman managed to track down three kids and confront them after they took a purse she had forgotten at Taco Bell.
San Antonio, Texas – A recent incident at a local H-E-B store in the McCreless Market area has highlighted the increasing role of technology in personal security and crime deterrence. On October 21, 2025, a woman, identified as Abby, confronted two young men she accused of stealing her purse from a nearby Taco Bell. The confrontation, captured on video, shows Abby explaining that she tracked her missing wallet and AirPods to the store using an Apple AirTag. During the tense exchange, the men initially denied having all of Abby's belongings. One man stated, "We seen that in the store. We had put it in our bag. We're looking for you." However, Abby pressed for the return of all items, including her car keys, which she also believed were missing. She asserted that her tracking device indicated her wallet was still with them, despite the men's claims that some items had been "dumped" in a dumpster behind the Taco Bell. As the situation intensified, with Abby threatening to involve the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), one of the men produced a pair of AirPods and other items from his pockets and a fanny pack. He then offered to take Abby to the location where the remaining items might be. The incident, which Abby described as "one of the most stressful days of my life," serves as a stark reminder for residents to be vigilant about their personal belongings in public spaces and demonstrates the effectiveness of modern tracking technology in recovering stolen property.
