Mogilev, Belarus – A new and unconventional halva flavor featuring cracklings and caramelized onion has been introduced by the confectionery producer "Krasny Pischevik," sparking considerable discussion among consumers. The innovative product, priced at 1 ruble and 7 kopecks, was recently reviewed by local blogger Zatestilmogilev, who described the taste as "a very unusual combination of sweet and salty." In her video review, filmed outside a "Krasny Pischevik" store on Leninskaya 40, the reviewer initially expressed surprise at the concept. Upon tasting, she noted, "It really tastes like cracklings. It feels like sweet halva was dipped into a pan where salted lard was fried." Despite the peculiar description, she concluded, "I like such combinations of sweet and salty. I enjoyed it, definitely try it, it's interesting." The product's unique profile aims to cater to adventurous palates, offering a distinctively Belarusian "village" flavor twist to the traditional sweet treat.
