According to Commander Javier Salgueiro of the Rural and Border Police, the occupants abandoned the truck upon noticing the police presence. "They abandoned the truck when they realized the police were there," stated Commander Salgueiro in an interview with BOLIVIA TV. "The truck, along with eight large containers of diesel, has been seized and transferred to the FELCC (Fuerza Especial de Lucha Contra el Crimen) for further investigation."
