For those who prefer alternatives to fresh fish, a third plan includes a can of sardines, three cans of tuna, and five walnuts daily. The fourth and most comprehensive plan features two cans of mackerel per week, five walnuts daily, and a spoonful of chia seeds daily. Dr. García also provided a crucial tip for plant-based Omega-3 sources like chia and flax seeds, stating, "Remember to hydrate or grind them, because otherwise, as they enter, they exit," emphasizing the importance of proper absorption for maximum benefit.
