MINSK – Oleg Sergeevich Gaidukevich, a deputy of the Belarusian parliament and a presidential candidate, recently shared his perspectives on achieving success and personal development in a street interview. The politician, who has been involved in politics since 2012, emphasized the critical role of discipline over innate talent. Gaidukevich, who previously served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and holds two higher education degrees, including one with honors from the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy and another in international relations, advised young people to pursue their passions. "The unhappiest person, even if they have money, is someone who is engaged in unloved work," he stated. Addressing the contemporary view that success can be achieved without higher education, Gaidukevich acknowledged its possibility for financial gain but stressed the importance of comprehensive development. "If you want to be a well-rounded person, you need to get a higher education," he asserted, highlighting his own academic background. He concluded by underscoring the importance of continuous effort and resilience. "Every day, when you wake up, you must never stop. Every morning you wake up, you start anew. Every day is a struggle," Gaidukevich said. He further added, "Discipline will win, even if there is no talent. But if you have talent and are not disciplined, you might not achieve any success."
