KOTA BHARU, KELANTAN – An environmental activist, known online as ivanhikestheworld, recently drew attention to a significant littering problem observed after a football match involving Kelantan FC at a stadium in Kota Bharu. In a video uploaded on August 3, 2025, the activist expressed profound disappointment over the large amount of trash, including plastic bottles and food containers, left scattered across the ground by spectators. The activist, who is also a PADI & IANTD instructor and freelance journalist, was seen personally collecting the discarded items, demonstrating the ease with which individuals can dispose of their waste responsibly. He emphasized that such widespread littering is not unique to Kelantan but is a pervasive issue. "Where's it gonna go? Is it just disappear in thin air?" he questioned in the video, highlighting the lack of regard for the environment. He further added, "I don't really see the reasoning or the excuse behind having to do all of this," referring to his act of cleaning up. The video aims to encourage greater public awareness and responsibility regarding waste management in public spaces.
