Белоруска потратила почти 700 рублей только на одежду для дочки в школу.
MINSK – A recent video posted by a local resident, lalka.bu, has highlighted the increasing financial burden on parents preparing their children for the upcoming school year in Minsk. The video, titled "School Shopping Haul from TsUM: Shocked by Prices," features the woman unboxing various school clothing items purchased from the Central Department Store (TsUM) and expressing her dismay over the costs. The mother detailed her purchases, which included golf socks, leggings, tights, a black and white jumper, a white blouse with a tie, a navy blazer, and two black sundresses. She also bought a pair of pink Crocs for her daughter. The total expenditure for these items amounted to 684 Belarusian Rubles. "This is a lot, honestly," she stated in the video, emphasizing that this sum did not even cover essential items like stationery, underwear, or a sports uniform. She further commented on the individual prices, noting a jumper costing 90 rubles and a children's blazer priced at 105 rubles. While she found some items, like a sundress for 53 rubles, to be more affordable, she reiterated her overall shock at the total cost. The video has sparked discussion among viewers, with many sharing their own experiences and alternative shopping locations.
