
Belarus Launches Nationwide Motorcycle Safety Campaign After Surge in Accidents
Minsk, Belarus – May 18, 2025 – The Belarusian State Auto Inspection (GAI) launched a nationwide campaign to improve motorcycle safety. This follows a concerning rise in accidents involving motorcyclists. "In the current year, 50 accidents occurred due to the fault of motorcyclists, resulting in 8 deaths and 52 injuries," stated Veronika Romankova, head of the GAI department.
