Przewalski's Horse Causes Highway Chaos in Prague

A Przewalski's horse named Whisky caused quite a stir on a Prague highway on June 5th, 2025, escaping its transport to Kazakhstan. The horse, part of a group being relocated by Prague Zoo, jumped from a moving truck, halting traffic. "It was quite a scene," said a witness who saw the commotion. Zoo staff quickly apprehended Whisky, tranquilized it, and returned it safely. The incident, while unusual, highlights the ongoing efforts to reintroduce Przewalski's horses, once extinct in the wild, back into their natural habitat in Kazakhstan. The remaining horses successfully completed their journey to Arkalyk.
