Proyecto 50/50/50 Kicks Off in Tenerife: A Marathon for Childhood Cancer Across Spain
Tenerife, Spain – The ambitious 'Proyecto 50/50/50' officially kicked off in Tenerife today, as its founder began his quest to run 50 kilometers in each of Spain's 50 provinces. This monumental challenge aims to raise awareness and support for childhood cancer initiatives across the country. On a sunny morning in Tenerife, the runner was joined by a significant number of local enthusiasts and supporters, transforming the solo endeavor into a communal event. Among the participants was an 11-year-old boy, demonstrating remarkable endurance, and a fellow runner who committed to completing the entire 50-kilometer distance alongside the project's founder. The route showcased Tenerife's scenic coastal paths, with hydration stations provided by sponsors ensuring the well-being of all participants. After approximately four hours, the 44-kilometer mark was reached, with only one loop remaining. Upon successful completion of the first 50km, the runner was seen recovering and preparing for his next destination, Gran Canaria, where the challenge will continue in Las Palmas. The project promises to be a compelling journey highlighting dedication and community spirit.
