SANTA CRUZ, Bolivia – A man known for repeat offenses was apprehended early this morning in the downtown area of Santa Cruz while attempting to steal an air conditioner. Local residents, who recognized the individual from previous incidents, collaborated with private security services to secure his capture before handing him over to the police. According to a neighbor interviewed at the scene, "We had the luck to catch him among several neighbors and the security service we hired. He was looking at another air conditioner on the street to steal it, and he just confessed that he sold the air conditioner he stole last night." The resident added that the suspect was found in possession of various tools, including pliers, knives, screwdrivers, and lighters, suggesting he was equipped for both theft and potential assault.
