A young woman has shared her distressing experience of being dismissed from a new job after just a single day, citing reasons she describes as unreasonable. The individual, who wishes to remain anonymous, stated she was told she lacked 'passion' and did not ask enough questions during her first day at a salon. This comes despite her previous experience as a salon manager. Adding to her current challenges, the woman revealed she is recovering from a broken leg, a condition her employer was reportedly aware of prior to her short-lived employment. Furthermore, she disclosed that she was made redundant from a prior influencer marketing position in March and is still owed £1600 in unpaid wages, contributing to a significant credit card debt. Her injury currently prevents her from seeking alternative employment in sectors like hospitality or retail, exacerbating her financial difficulties.
