London, UK – A recent viral video by content creator Sophie Richards, known for her 'Anti-Inflammatory Living' series, has highlighted a homemade recipe for anti-inflammatory shots. Richards, who is on day 24 of sharing anti-inflammatory tips, demonstrated her current obsession: a turmeric and ginger shot, emphasizing the importance of 'key ingredients' for efficacy. The recipe, shared by Richards, includes 100g ginger, 2 oranges, 2 tablespoons of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and 1.2 liters of water. She instructs viewers to blend all ingredients, then strain the mixture to remove pulp before bottling. Richards noted that black pepper strengthens anti-inflammatory effects and that olive oil (or any fat source) helps activate curcumin, the anti-inflammatory chemical in turmeric. She also suggested that if ginger and oranges are organic, their skin can be left on. Richards stated that she consumes two shots per day, using up a batch in 3-4 days. She advises that the shots can be stored in the fridge for up to five days if bottled well, or frozen in ice cube trays for batch cooking. The creator expressed curiosity about why supermarket-bought shots often lack a fat source. The video, uploaded from the UK, has garnered significant attention with 1.6 million views, 48,700 likes, and over 50,000 saves.
