A British family traveling through France in their campervan has reported a distressing incident at a campsite, alleging unfair treatment and accusations from staff. According to the father, his daughter was pushed on a trampoline at Camping des Lancieres, resulting in a torn safety net. He stated that his daughter was fortunately uninjured. The following morning, the family claims they were confronted by campsite staff who accused their children of deliberately damaging the trampoline net and demanded payment for repairs. The staff also reportedly pointed to small pieces of litter on the ground, including a tissue and plastic, claiming the family was responsible for them. The father vehemently denied these accusations, asserting that his children did not cause the damage to the trampoline and that the litter was either not theirs or had fallen from their vehicle. In response to the dispute, the family reported that their children were subsequently banned from a small room on the campsite that contained books and toys. The father expressed his frustration, suggesting that his family felt targeted and isolated due to their nationality. He stated he was 'absolutely fuming' and felt 'made to feel like outsiders' by the campsite management and other long-term French campers.
